Activities: Following day after breakfast leave the hotel to a trip to Sinharaja rainforest and it will spend nearly 3hrs to reach to Sinharaja after you could take a guided walking tour of the Rain forest. SINHARAJA RAIN FOREST RESERVE – Sinharaja is the only “UNESCO World Heritage Site” Rain Forest in Sri Lanka, with a very high rate of bio-diversity. The vegetation is tropical wet evergreen forest and the area under the reserve is 11,187 hectares. Sinharaja is the only relatively undisturbed rain forest of any considerable size and many of the plants are very rare and are represented by only one individual of its kind in a large area.

Activities: After early breakfast leave the hotel and driven up to Udawalawa. You could go on an evening safari in Udawalawa national park. Udawalawe is an important habitat for Sri Lankan Elephants, which are relatively easy to see in its open habitats.
Many elephants are attracted to the park because ofthe Udawalawe reservoir, with a herd of about 250 believed to be permanently resident. The Udawalawe Elephant Transit Home was established in 1995 for the purpose of looking after abandoned elephant calves within the park. A total of nine calves, on two occasions in 1998 and2000, with another eight calves in 2002, were released in the park when old enough to fend for themselves

Bundala National Park is an internationally important wintering ground in Sri Lanka for migratory water birds. Bundala harbors 197 species, the highlight being the Greater Flamingo, which migrates in large flocks. Bundala was designated a wildlife sanctuary in 1969 and redesignated to a national park on 4 January 1993. In 1991 Bundala became the first wetland to be declared as a Ramsar site in Sri Lanka. In 2005 the national park was designated as abiosphere reserve by UNESCO, the fourth biosphere reserve in Sri Lanka.

Activities: After having breakfast you will be able to visit Katharagama. It’s a popular pilgrimage destination frequented by adherents of all religions in Sri Lanka. The main shrine devoted to Skanda popularly described in eulogies as God having six faces and twelve arms whose assistance is sought for worldly gain. The history of the shrine dates back to 2 century BC. The annual procession held in July or August is the main event of the shrine with fire walkers and Kawadi dancers. Offering to the got are made at 4.30am 10.30am and 6.30pm daily.
There after go on short city tour to look around the city and evening return back to the hotel.
