DAY 01– Route (Start - End): Airport > Negombo

You will be met on arrival at the Colombo International Airport by our Acrus Travels representative who will assist you with your luggage and guide you to your vehicle where your personal chauffeur guide / guide await.

Transfer to Negombo hotel on the way visit Negombo fish market and fishing village.

Dinner and overnight stay at the Jetwing Blue

DAY 02– Route (Start - End): Negombo > Anamaduwa

After breakfast at hotel transfer to Mud House in Anamaduwa, En route (optional) visit to the tile factory in Waikkala and visit Munnishwaram Kovil in Chillaw. Mud House in a rural village in the wildness. Experience the rural village architecture, staying in house in clay with thatched roofs done with woven coconut leaves (all basic facilities available)

After proceed to Mud house you can join in a Demonstration on how mud houses are built using ancient techniques and you can relax in the mud house.

DAY 03- Route (Start - End): Anamaduwa > Anuradhapura > Dambulla

After breakfast leave to Anuradhapura. Make a short city tour in Anuradhapura, Visit holy bodhi tree and archaeological museum. Anuradhapura was the Sri Lanka’s first known kingdom built by king Anuradha. Being Sri Lanka’s capital for centuries in the ancient time now declared as a world heritage city. The scared Sri Maha Bodhi (Holy Bodhi Tree), Dagabas, Tanks, Art & Architecture are main attractions. Anuradhapura is a World Heritage City declared by UNESCO and it is the Cultural Triangle and one of the most sacred places in Buddhism.

On completion proceeds to Kandalama which is another wonderful creation of Geoffry Bawa

DAY 04- Route (Start - End): Dambulla

After breakfast at hotel leave to climb the Sigiriya rock fortress later you can visit the Dambulla rock cave temple and return to the hotel and Spend rest of the day leisurely at the hotel

Visiting Sigiriya Rock Fortress you able to many fascinating architectural designs found at Sigiriya, this large pool is made by cutting out the living rock of the rock summit. The Palace of the King Kashyapa was built on this rock summit.

Dambulla Rock cave temple located at an elevation of 1118 feet from the sea level raises a massive rock from the surrounding plains of Dambulla of 600 feet high and over 2000 feet in length. It is home to the World’s most acclaimed Cave complex of magnificent Buddha Images and Rock Paintings of vivid colours and shapes constructed and painted from around 2nd Century BC (Anuradhapura era ) and continued up to the Kandyan era of the 18th Century. Sinhalese people call it as ‘ Dambulu Gala’ ( Dambulla Rock) and the Temple is called as the ‘ Rangiri Dambulu Viharaya’ (Golden Rock Dambulla Temple).

DAY 05– Route (Start - End): Dambulla > Kandy

After breakfast hotel leave to Kandy and Visit Temple of tooth relic, Ambakke temple, and evening make a city tour of Kandy, Upper Lake, Kandy Lake, Art and Craft Center, Gem Museum. And the later afternoon dance performance featuring traditional dancers from the different regions of Sri Lanka

There are also many sites with Kandy Architecture prominently displayed, especially at the Dalada Maligawa (Temple of the Tooth Relic), Lankatilaka Temple and Embekke Temple, to name a very few.The traditional Kandyan Architecture consist of Temple Structures, Murals done on walls and on stone in many temples, Carvings and reliefs done on Stone and decorated Wooden Carvings on timber columns and brackets.

DAY 06– Route (Start - End): Kandy > Nuwara Eliya

After breakfast you can visit the Peradeniya royal botanical garden and leave to Nuwara Eliya
“Little England” Where You able to see the mountains covered with tea bushes, Tea Factories, Tea pluckers and cascading waterfalls. En route visit a tea factory where the process of tea producing and grading will be explained. You will also be able to taste a cup of pure Ceylon tea in the Factory.

In the evening make a short city tour in Nuwara Eliya

DAY 07- Route (Start - End): Nuwara Eliya > Tangalle

After breakfast at hotel leave to Tangalle. You could visit Last House in Tangalla and you able to spend a day at own leisure in Last House. Its beach and chic at this property. As Geoffrey Bawa’s final example of his infamous brand of architecture throughout Sri Lanka, this six-bed roomed seaside escape enjoys space, ventilation and barefoot luxury in a private location.

DAY 08– Route (Start - End): Tangalle > Galle

After Breakfast leave to Proceed to Galle. En-route visiting the Ruhuna University Campus and office building in Matara, designed by Mr. Bawa (subject to permission being granted from authorities) Afternoon visit the famous Dutch Fort in Galle, constructed in 1792 (UNESCO World Heritage Site).

An entire morning can be spent exploring the maze of narrow roadways lined with Dutch and British Colonial era buildings that are still in use, sturdy ramparts overlooking Galle’s international cricket stadium, and scattering of shops, art galleries, museums, boutique hotels and cafes.

Dinner & Overnight stay at Jetwing Lighthouse

Approx drive time – 1 ½ hrs

DAY 09– Route (Start - End): Galle > Ahungalla

After breakfast leave to Ahungalla and check in to Heritance Ahungalla hotel designed by Geoffrey Bawa Visit and experience Lunuganga in Bentota, the local residence and lifetime creation of Mr.Bawa. This garden is open to visitors from 9 am to 5 pm daily. An entrance fee is payable at the gate. A guided tour of the garden is available on request. Lunch and tea may be arranged as part of the garden visit for which a supplement is chargeable on the garden entry but is limited to availability of space and occupancy of the rooms by in house guests.

DAY 10– Route (Start - End): Ahungalla > Colombo

After breakfast at hotel transfer to Colombo En route visit Bentota Beach hotel, all designs of Mr. Bawa
Having arrived to Colombo make a city tour. Visit the Museum, old Parliament, the residential areas and the BMICH (Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall), a Hindu Kovil, a Buddhist Temple, Observing the Galle Face Green and visit Fort Bazaar and do some shopping in Colombo

Dinner & Overnight stay at Cinnamon Grand

Approx drive time – 1 ½ hrs

DAY 10– Route (Start - End): Ahungalla > Colombo

After breakfast it’s time to bid good bye to the charms of our tropical island, and leave for your return flight to the airport
